The Cheese Cave Website

May 30, 2011 (comments: 0)

The Cheese Cave is pleased to announce the much anticipated and eagerly awaited new and improved website!

The site now provides information on many of the cheeses we offer in addition to being able to browse through our broad array of specialty foods, gift baskets and cheese accessories. Shortly there will be the ability to shop and purchase on line, with delivery right to your door!

A convenient feature of the shop is the ability to pre-order your cheese for quick and easy pickup by filling out the brief form on the “Call in Orders” page.

The Cheese Cave will also put together a creative and enjoyable cheese platter for any of your entertaining needs, attractively presented on a bamboo cutting board.

We are working hard to develop and schedule special events and promotions that will be highlighted on our calendar of events. A few dates to note are Thursday, June 16th and June 23rd, when we be holding our first Cheese 101 classes from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The class will accommodate up to 20 people and will cover such topics as the history of cheese, the cheesemaking process and how artisan cheese differs from “industrial cheese”. We will discuss the varied styles and types of cheese with an opportunity to taste and examine each of the styles of cheese discussed along with identifying suitable pairings. The cost of the class is $60 and registration may be done by calling the shop to reserve your spot!

If you have not yet been to our shop, take the opportunity to view the video by clicking on “Take a tour of our shop” and learn more about The Cheese Cave or just come by to say hello!
